Tuk-Tuk
Going by Tuk-Tuk is a very convenient way of getting around in Hua Hin. If you are a number of people, you can negotiate with a driver who can take you pretty much anywhere, normally against a reasonable cost.
Motorbike Taxi
A good way of traveling during rush hour is by motorbike taxi. However, we would like to urge for great caution as many accidents in Thailand occur with motorbike vehicles. The motorbike taxi drivers can be recognised through their numbered shirts. Some good advice is to make sure you wear helmet when going by motorbike taxi.
Non-Official Taxis
So-called “black” taxi is another way of getting around — as Hua Hin does not have any of those official taxis with meters, which abound in the streets of Bangkok. Here it is, though, important to note that some of these cars are uninsured, which can cause problems in the case of an accident. This is especially important to consider if you are planning on embarking on a longer trip.
