Majestic Creek Country Club is a 27-hole course, sited about 30 minutes by car from Hua Hin city, in a beautiful setting with palms and other dense vegetation. Just being on site at Majestic, with all its ponds and watercourses, is a delight. Also take the opportunity to enjoy the environment on the way to the course, where you will see mango and pineapple plantations in abundance — as well as the famous Giant Buddha (“Luang Pho Tuad”).

Majestic Creek is designed by Dr Sukitti Klangvisai and was opened in 1993. Klangvisai is one of Thailand’s most prominent course architects. The golf course is not far from the mountains and from many sites the view reaches all the way to the Thai border with Burma. Majestic Creek holds a rather high standard and could be well worth exploring on a visit to Hua Hin. The course is not very easy to play, posing a challenge also to high skilled players. In particular, some the tee shots can be tricky and demand some deal of consideration. The first hole, which is a dogleg-right hole, is characterised by numerous hurdles and a few decisive options need to be made. Already at tee, you can choose either a “safe” passage or a shortcut.

A great number of green keepers make sure that the good condition of the course is being maintained. The supply of water is good, as the nearby mountains ensure a continuous flow of water. Previously, the course had some problems with dry greens, but as a new watering system has been implemented the problem was solved.

The club house has all the facilities that can be expected from a good golf course. The green fee is 2,200 baht on weekdays as well as weekends. Hiring a caddy costs about 200 baht. Of course, there is a driving range in connection to the course.
