It was a successful Scandinavian Society Siam party that took place in Hua Hin on 12 January. For many of the guests, the day started off early in the morning with tee times at Black Mountain. A quite significant number of golfers were eager to battle for the SEB Cup Elephant Trophy. The “Thailand” team (mainly consisting of Thailand-based expatriates) competed against the “International” team. The Winner was finally “Thailand” with the score 14 to 11. The picture to the left shows the Thai team, through their representative, receiving the trophy in front of some 150 guests at the following up party at Marriott Spa & Resort in Hua Hin.
One of the highlights of the night was to drink exotic cocktails at the bar. For the night, the bar was managed by Bangkok-based Flow Cocktail and the team were composing cocktails with highly interesting ingredients.
Joakim Persson, one of the organizers of the event, said he was satisfied with the number of people turning up at the event and mentioned that it is not unlikely that Scandinavian Society Siam’s Winter- and Golf Party will come back to Hua Hin soon again...
