Should you be interested in going on a trip, but don’t want to be away from Hua Hin more than a couple of hours, then an excursion on the Khlong Khao Daeng Canal might be a suitable option. If you are lucky, you will see beautiful wild birds, monkeys and reptiles. You get access to the Khao Daeng Canal at Khao Sam Roi Yot (see further above). Boats can be rented at Baan Khao Daeng, and the trip takes approximately one hour stretching over some four kilometres. The best time to go on the trip is between 4.30 pm and 5.30 pm — just before sunset.
